This book is a tremendous book with many great rhymes and glitter on every page.
It is about a rabbit that really loves to make up rhymes at every different setting he comes to. For example when a fox is coming to attack the rabbit and the rest of his family, his family run off into their burrow while he is delayed in doing so because he is making up a rhyme that fits with what was occurring at that moment.
This book includes superb text that allows the illustrations to be understood by all ages. My favourite piece in the book is the rhyme that the rhyming rabbit came up with when he came to a centipede.
The rhyme is...
"O centipede with a hundred legs,
supposing you laid a hundred eggs?
And supposing the baby centipedes had a hundred legs like their mum and dad,
how many legs would that be?
And supposing the baby centipedes grew and they laid a hundred eggs like you and all of the new little sisters and brothers had just the same number of legs as the others,
how many legs would that be?
"Shut up." said the centipede."I hate sums."
I recommend this book to children of the ages 1-8 but if you are of an older age and just enjoy reading short, fun picture books with rhyming then I'm sure you'll enjoy this book!!
I rate this book 5/5 or 5 stars!
